Reporting to Purchasing Manager

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Regular review of MRP data output.
  • Review and place PO demand for all Asia based suppliers and liaison with Neville’s Hong Kong office for any queries or order issues.
  • Administration of daily stock taking process.
  • Administration, in conjunction with the HK office, of any changes to incoming consignments originating from Asia based suppliers.
  • Assisting Customer Service department with stock availability queries.
  • Ordering of New Products, ensuring goods are available in time for launch.

Skills & Ability

  • Previous experience of purchasing, ideally within an MRP / ERP environment. SAP B1 experience is particularly desirable, but not essential.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Asia-based purchasing & logistics.
  • To be PC proficient (particularly Excel).
  • To be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • To be able to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels, across all departments.

Other details

  • Working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am – 2:30pm, with 30 minute lunch.
  • Place of work – Viking Way, Erith, Kent.

Salary £21,000 pro rata
