Ensuring we act in a responsible, sustainable way is an essential part of how we work. This statement is our commitment to meeting, or improving on, legal and regulatory environmental requirements and applicable codes of practice.

We encourage our suppliers to adopt similar standards to minimise impact on the environment, reduce energy consumption, minimise excessive secondary packaging and reduce waste to landfill. We work with a partner, Comply Direct, who manage our reccycling. Our supplier selection process includes careful application of environmental criteria ensuring adherence to legal requirements and best practice.

The key areas we focus on are:

・Minimising waste by evaluating operations and ensuring they are as efficient as possible.

・Utilising technology and e‐commerce to reduce stationary use.

・Actively promote recycling internally. Over 75% of our waste is re‐cycled and over 95% of our packaging materials is from re‐cycled cardboard packaging, equating to 65 tonnes of cardboard per annum (2015 figures).

・To comply with all relevant environmental legislation.
